Marketplace role
The platform helps users discover and transact with independent organizers, vendors and space owners. Unless clearly stated, we are not the event producer, vendor, landlord or employer and do not guarantee listings, attendance or outcomes.
Accounts and listings
Users must provide accurate information, safeguard credentials, possess rights to submitted content and comply with applicable permits, accessibility, safety, tax, licensing and consumer laws.
Payments and platform fees
Stripe or PayPal may process payments completed through What’s Popping Up. The platform transaction fee applies only to payments processed through our checkout. Organizers may direct customers to their own ticketing, reservation, food-ordering or product-payment services without a What’s Popping Up transaction fee. Prices, processing charges, taxes and refund terms should be disclosed before purchase.
Reviews and conduct
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. Fraud, harassment, unlawful discrimination, impersonation, scraping and misleading scarcity are prohibited. Organizers remain responsible for the accuracy and security of approved external checkout or reservation links.
Suspension and liability
We may moderate or remove content and suspend accounts to protect users or comply with law. Appropriate warranty disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, governing law and dispute terms must be finalized by counsel.
